Protesters disrupt town hall on race

At colleges nationwide, a discussion is underway about race. It started with the protests at Missouri that led to the chancellor’s resignation, and it has spread to dozens of other schools, including UNC, where officials held a town hall event Thursday night.

Administrators encouraged the campus community to share ideas on how to make Carolina more inclusive. But from early on, things didn’t go quite according to plan.
