Group calls for coal divestment

A group of UNC students wants the university to stop investing in the coal industry. This week, they asked the Board of Trustees to stop using UNC endowment money to buy stocks of companies that produce or use coal. It’s part of a national campaign that’s taking place at about 300 campuses.
