Effects of UNC stimulus money debated

The 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment…more commonly referred to as the stimulus…came with the promise to create and save jobs. The controversial act is again in the news after the topic was heavily discussed in the Vice Presidential debate earlier this month.

UNC received just under 12 million dollars in research funding from the stimulus, but did the allocations create jobs?
