Thorp reflects on legacy as chancellor

Chancellor Holden Thorp is an innovator, an entrepreneur and a teacher. Even though he’s stepping down from his position in June, Thorp isn’t leaving the university altogether. He’ll return to his old stomping grounds — the classroom — where he’ll be teaching chemistry.

After being involved with Carolina for more than twenty years, he just can’t say goodbye quite yet. Alex Rizk talks with him about his legacy.
