Distracted walking poses threat

Many UNC students walk around campus glued to their cell phones— listening to music, talking or texting.  They rarely look up, often crossing the street into the path of oncoming traffic.  Chapel Hill’s pedestrian safety advocates are trying to educate people about how dangerous distracted walking can be.
