The 9/11 attacks increased the spotlight on first responders – the firefighters, police, paramedics and other emergency personnel who head into crises as others move out.
UNC’s School of Public Health now runs a program specifically for those personnel.It helps them move more quickly and efficiently when tragedy strikes.
