UNC institute conducts first research on teen autism

UNC’s Frank Porter Graham Institute is conducting the first research project in the United States for adolescents with autism. It’s working alongside the Center on Secondary Education for Students with Autism, known as CEESA, as part of a new program called ‘transitioning together.’ It’s a five year support program that gives adolescents with autism tools to transition into life after high school. Samantha Polito reports.
