Some UNC sports fans sit in protest during national anthem

A growing number of athletes are protesting the national anthem before their games. It started with NFL star Colin Kaepernick.

Now, many others are refusing to stand, or are raising their fists. No UNC players have protested, but a group of fans stayed seated at last weekend’s football game at Kenan Stadium.
