Legislature may seek to avoid controversy in session

The General  Assembly began its session Monday. Joining the legislators were activists from across the state voicing their support and opposition towards House Bill 2, the controversial new law that struck down local ordinances that protected LGBT rights in certain public facilities. But HB2 isn’t the only topic people are talking about.
