The JV team experience is unique. They play around a dozen games, mostly against community colleges or military academies. Although they do play on the Smith Center floor, games are not televised, and have less fanfare than that of most high schools.

The 2015-16 UNC Men’s Basketball team is at the top of most preseason polls. This year’s roster includes the usual suspects, but also some more unknown contributors.

Justin Coleman, Spenser Dalton and Toby Egbuna are seniors, and they all began their time at Carolina as members of the Junior Varsity Men’s Basketball team.

UNC is among a shrinking number of schools that still fields a JV team.
