UNC settles down after hectic week of leadership changes

The UNC system leadership has seen a lot of change in the past couple of weeks. This week, Board of Governors Chairman John Fennebresque resigned following criticism of the hiring process of UNC’s new president, former U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings.

While many on the board seemed pleased with the choice of Spellings, some UNC-Chapel Hill faculty are upset about the lack of transparency.
