Organizers expect more than 500 people to be at the 27th annual Carolina Indian Circle Powwow celebration Saturday at Woolen Gym.
As part of the event, they will be honoring Faith Hedgepeth, a UNC student who was killed in her off-campus apartment in 2012. Today, Rolanda Hedgepeth, Faith’s sister, will be at the Powwow in her honor.
