UNC protests Senate Bill 575

This week, UNC students, professors and employees banded together to protest legislation that would change the job status of UNC system workers. They’re fighting against Senate Bill 575, which would remove 22-thousand non-teaching employees from the protection of the State Personal Act. UNC system officials say the bill would give them more flexibility to manage workers. But employees say it would put their jobs in danger. John Caison reports.
